"Sa Dilim" when translated in english is "In Darkness". A black & white photoblog with occasional sepia.
I am a 43-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.
I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way.
Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

Oh my gosh, what a rare find, Dave! I rarely see swans, how much more one who is nesting! Lovely composition... she looks shy! Mono gave it that extra drama. :) Good job! :)

Sweet!
Feels like the illustration of an old fairy tale ;-)
Incredible capture - and the B&W makes it feel like an incredibly old story. I love it.
Beautiful! Love the way it looks in b&w.
Beautiful and elegant. And as someone noted, she looks quite proud of herself.
Wow...even though the swan is center stage, and rightly so - I love the texture of the grass/hay. This is a great shot!

Dave, you may be new in photography influenced by Eng, but definitely the talent has long been there, I am glad you found it and now we are one of those to enjoy it. i don't want to keep on saying great shots, your shots are!
