my entry to My World
"Sa Dilim" when translated in english is "In Darkness". A black & white photoblog with occasional sepia.
I am a 43-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.
I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way.
Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

I love this! Everything is pointy and jagged, dramatic and dark = great! Would you mind sharing your technique or do you prefer to keep that to yourself (which I understand)?
a menacing sight and yet beautiful- from the dark sky to the angle of the shot to the texture and tones. the lighting gives this massive architecture a hauntingly elegant look and feel.
i love it!

Really amazing! I love it!
it is really great ... reminds me to a medieval criminal novel (Sharan Newman: "Death Comes As Epiphany")... wonderful dense atmosphere ... I should not like to go for a walk there at night and alone ... please tell me, where is that? greetings from kri
This image is such a treat in B&W.
My first thoughts were of Count Dracula when I saw this marvelous but dark image. Excellent stuff.
this reminds me of Batman and Gotham City.:p excellent work--i love the sinister mood of this photo.
Magnificent, stunning, dark and dramatic.
Amazing. I can almost feel the clouds move and expect lightning any minute. Quite dramatic.
What a dramatic composition.
right out of a frankenstein movie! awesome pic!
'Twas a dark and stormy night... brings to mind such classics as "The Hound of the Baskervilles" and "Frankenstein: or, The Modern Prometheus"!
....cool.....
