"Sa Dilim" when translated in english is "In Darkness". A black & white photoblog with occasional sepia.
I am a 43-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.
I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way.
Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

Dave,
as your big sister, you send this lovely rose to the important mums in your life.
Yes Ann I did after this shot was taken.
It´s NOT "just another flower"! It´s a very beautiful flower, and you sent it to your mother! Bless you Dave!
And thank´s for the good answer on my blog!
That's a beautiful shot of the flower.
this is my favorite so far....lovely!
Wow....love it!
I'm generally not a fan of black and white but this one is rather special! Maybe someone with your talent will change my feelings about the subject.
Wow, that's something I would hang on my wall! I love black and white photos... also sepia tone as well. It leaves something to the imagination whereas color is a tell all.
Exquisite! I love it! Perfect in black and white.
Oh no, that is not just another flower...that is a ROSE. And so beautifully captured in black and white.
Wow, what a great capture of a rose!! I love the other details behind it too!! Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
Lovely perfect rose, I can "feel" the texture of the petals. Great capture.
I can almost smell it!

B&W photos give a good opportunity to see how lights and shadows make up what we see.
