"Sa Dilim" when translated in english is "In Darkness". A black & white photoblog with occasional sepia.
I am a 43-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.
I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way.
Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

Wonderful lighting. Beautiful shot.
Stunning compostion. Beautiful as always here.
Fascinating perspective. Ice, I wonder, or extended exposure. A good shot!
Beautiful, tranquil scene.
Beautiful one!
The boat and the sky and the setting sun - all is absolutely lovely!
I love the drama and the quality of light and shadow you've captured here. You've been a maker of images for a long time I'll bet. Just didn't take pictures of them until recently. Keep it up.
Beautiful! The boat leads the eye right to the setting sun! Very nice...

Superb light and composition, Dave!
Have a great weekend :)
Very expressive! Have a nice weekend!
This is an awesome and impressive shot. First I saw the bright light on the horizon, then I moved to the boat, and finally to the sand with all of the imprints in it. It makes a last impression of the eyes of the viewer.
looks like you used HDR processing...nicely done...I like the perspective...
It's as if the light is creeping in and stealing away the darkness. This is wonderful.
une pause longue, superbe b&w
