"Sa Dilim" when translated in english is "In Darkness". A black & white photoblog with occasional sepia.
I am a 43-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.
I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way.
Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

This is an incredible photo, beautiful in composition, tones, etc. not to mention the subject matter itself.
Thank you for the suggestion and link to the Jurassic Coast, this would be something my husband would really get into seeing, he enjoys fossils and archeology. I could get into the photographic possiblilites!

Cool shot! Ilike the way the old pier curves.

broken, yet still so easy to read as a whole...like a wrd mssng vwls...cool!
Another excellent photo.
Such a peaceful and serene photo, but a bit sad in its own beautiful way. Though pieces are missing, we know what it was. I just love the way you composed this shot.
Gotta agree with the others on this one. Spot on composition....leading lines, subject matter, tonal range. Oddly, I like how the horizon (mostly) disappears or blends into the water. Well shot.
A excellent photo.
Congratulations! I am so thrilled this shot was chosen to be featured this week. I knew it was wonderful when I saw it and commented the first time. You are a fabulous photographer, and I love following your work. You continue to inspire me. G
